植物介紹:
歐山楂為薔薇科山楂屬的小型喬木,廣泛分布於歐洲。植株最高約8公尺,開白色花,雌雄同花且自交親合結果。果實紅棕色,堅硬且酸,但在經過採收後放置後熟即會軟化,此時的歐山楂果會有類似蘋果的香氣及稠狀的果肉。果樹壽命短約30~50年,砧木可以一般山楂、梨以及貼梗海棠作為砧木。食用上需去除種子方可生食。

播種季節為秋冬春,經冷層積2~3個月再行播種。
